We provide high quality landscape products and services to area residents and businesses, and we sell landscape products to both wholesale and retail customers.

We use technology, from state-of-the-art equipment and paraplanes, as well as traditional farming practices to grow high quality sod. Our attention to detail ensures that all of the sod you purchase from us meets the highest standards.

Our History

Joe Cooling started his business selling topsoil in the 1950's in Rockford, Illinois. Since then, the operation has grown exponentially. In 1989, the farm moved to Cherry Valley and is now over 800 acres and employs over 75 people.
